Hi, I'm currently in my second year at Nottingham Trent University studying Fashion Communication and Promotion. Our project for our final semester focuses on making a zine (a short handmade magazine) similar to the cafelit, litro and leaf that you offer. Myself and Ashleigh Haughton aim to target a young, creative audience and are making a very artistic, visual zine filled with creative people, places and things to do. I came across your website and think the whole concept is very inspiring and also perfect for our zine. I researched the Walk Cafe in Nottingham which is one of the creative cafes and loved the activities that it hosts as part of the project.
We would love to include an article about the Creative Cafe Project in our zine. Depending on where you are currently based we could ask questions via email or meet for an interview. As a course we are holding a zine fair to sell our individual zines, at the Hopkinson Gallery in Nottingham on 28th May 2011. Other students and many creative people will be attending and we think it would be a really great way to spread the word about your project to a very suitable audience. We think these are the ideal people to get involved. We will also be in contact with the Walk Cafe and interview them as well. This would help raise awareness and encourage the artistic students in Nottingham to attend the events held there.
